Who can be a Trainee?

In general skill mission is not restricted by age, caste or location. Under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana one of the key flagship skill development programmers anyone who is above the age of 18 years and keen on undergoing a skill training can enrol for training subject to their eligibility under the required course as per Sector Skill Council norms.
However there are a multitude of schemes from different departments which have their own set of eligibility criteria and a candidate has to fulfil the eligibility criteria under the scheme only then is he considered as a candidate under the Scheme.
Eligibility: Candidate needs to be more than 17-35 years of Age.
